M & T: Session 10 (First Project Essay)

Posted by msanche3 on November 21, 2009

So I decided to change my technology from cars to cellphones because I have a blackberry and although I have to pay for the service I still think that it is one of the most amazing cellphones to this date that are out. I love it because it contains so much of a computer on a handheld gadget. You can sync. your diff. email addresses so that you get all your emails straight to your phone and can check it when they come in, you can also still be socially connected with fb, twitter and myspace apps, it also haves the ability to go on the internet and do many more things! So the main important person that had the biggest impact was of course it’s creator, Martin Cooper (70 years old) who created the cellphone because he wanted people to be able to carry their phones with them wherever they were; Interestingly enough it is said that the first phone call he made was to his rival Joel Engel, Bell Labs head of research. Two other people/companies who had a impact on cellphones are: both motorola who was announced as the first cellphone company builder and at&t who became the main source for those who wanted to use cellphone.
